Growth Marketing Strategist - Vice Media
New York, NY | Digital Media and Broadcasting | June 2018 - April 2019
As a Freelance Growth Marketing Strategist at Vice Media, I played a pivotal role in enhancing the digital presence and engagement across multiple Vice Media verticals, including Vice.com, Broadly, Motherboard, Tonic, Noisey, Free, and Munchies. My strategic efforts led to a significant 32% increase in online website engagement. I developed and implemented a comprehensive website growth strategy, leveraging a $300K budget to drive a 7% increase in user acquisition in 2018 across various channels.
One of my notable contributions was leading the 2018 social and paid digital marketing strategy for Vice’s content verticals, which not only boosted online engagement but also contributed to a significant increase in user acquisition. Additionally, I maintained and developed nine high-profile partnerships, generating more client revenue opportunities and achieving a 6% increase in up-selling. Regular Google Analytics reporting under my management resulted in an 11% increase in Vice.com traffic.
Moreover, I was instrumental in supporting Noisey's newsletter strategy during a period of tremendous success in newsletter engagement. The new Noisey newsletter aimed to highlight up-and-coming artists, explore new artists across different sub-genres, and share playlists curated by the Vice community. My role involved growing the user base and enhancing engagement through targeted marketing efforts.
