Product Manager & Design Researcher - frog Design & frog Ventures

Clients: Gap, Ikea, AT&T, Cox, TikTok, Merk, Regeneron, UCB, Google, Nationwide, Lululemon | Mar 2020 - June 2021

At frog Design & frog Ventures, one of the top design and innovation consultancies globally, I was selected as a key member of the 5-person North American Business Development team. In this role, I identified opportunities, business engagements, and ventures for high-profile clients such as Gap, Ikea, AT&T, Cox, TikTok, Merk, Regeneron, UCB, Google, Nationwide, and Lululemon.

I successfully closed over 12 business deals worth more than $7M by defining value propositions and leading business development efforts, which resulted in a 20% increase in client acquisitions. I authored and presented over 35 pitch and proposal decks, partnering with business development directors, executive directors, creative directors, partners, and c-suite executives. Additionally, I identified over 30 high-stakes opportunities with a potential revenue of $250M, conducted 60+ client Q&A calls, and developed more than 10 key media and co-marketing partnerships.

In my secondary role as a Product Manager and Design Researcher, I directed service and product strategy for three high-stakes partnerships, collaborating with cross-functional teams. I conducted comprehensive design research, framing key insights into personas, archetypes, customer journey maps, and touchpoint analysis to ensure customer needs were met. I led an 8-week program integrating sustainability and DEI into course and curriculum strategy, which led to follow-on work. Additionally, I planned frog Design’s first virtual “Global Make Your Mark Awards,” with our strategy work for the Hip Hop Architecture Camp being a finalist in the “Impact” category. I also authored several articles for frog Design, including “Finding a New Normal in an Age of Disruption,” “QA with Treasure Brown on UX, Impact & Design,” and “Change Takes Root in the Pond,” and was featured in “Trends 2021: Three Scenes from the Future.”
